Why do you start out in the 70's and work your way up to the present as the night goes on?

But flip about occasionally. This isn't my usual set, I normally do three small sets, as does Jon. I had to do 3 hours straight and I was watching the customers, see what age and look they had, tailoring the set to what I thought they wanted. We normally get the younger crowd in about half nine to get their q-jump tickets, so I tend to play older stuff earlier, then my second set is normally Britpop era, and my last set more modern. This was built on a few requests as I went along, the last time I started with a 60s set, went into an 80s pop then finished on indie
